Moments of anguish were experienced in the New York subway facilities in the Broklyn area where on Sunday a woman was burned alive while sleeping in one of the cars.
The events occurred on the morning of Sunday, December 22, when a 30-year-old woman, who was allegedly a regular passenger on the subway system, was sleeping in one of the cars of the F train.
A 25-year-old man, allegedly of Guatemalan nationality, approached the woman and without saying a word threw some lit matches at her, causing the flames to spread against the victim. The suspect fled at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station
The flames burned the woman, who, despite the intervention of the emergency services, was burned to death at the scene. At the moment, the identity of the murdered woman is unknown

The New York Police Department managed to capture the Guatemalan migrant, who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a dark-colored beanie with a red line and brown boots.
So far, the identity of the murdered woman is unknown, while the authorities have begun investigations into the reasons that led the migrant to burn the woman alive.
